Jennifer
Gladysz is the
owner/operator of Mobile Mutts Dog Walking.
She is a trained dog handler and a long time dog
owner and lover.
After
serving in the Army for three years as a Watercraft
Engineer, Jennifer decided to return to New York
to earn her degree in Museum Studies at NYU. After
graduating she went to work in a small museum
in NYC but quickly realized that a desk job just
wasn't for her. Jennifer then set out to discover
her true calling. She had no idea that taking
a part time position at Monster Mutt Doggie Daycare
was going to turn into a career as a dog walker
but shortly after working with the dogs at Monster
Mutt, she knew that was what she wanted to do. Now she happily spends her days running Mobile Mutts and providing jobs for many creative and talented dog and cat lovers (see below).
Jennifer has also recently co-authored a book called Be A Dog's Best Friend: A Safety Guide for Kids with Renee Paynee of Walk This Way Canine Behavior Therapy.
She lives with her husband, Keith; their 14-year-old daughter
Ema; three dogs Bowie, Cash and June; and their three
cats Irma, Pickles and Squirrel.

Mariah
Elliott is from Seattle where
she was a bored and uninspired secretary with
a languishing degree in fashion design. Now residing
in Williamsburg, she plans to start her own mini
clothing line and hopes to perfect her patternmaking
and tailoring skills while pursuing a bachelor’s
degree at FIT. As part of an overall lifestyle
change, she has happily abandoned her once full-time
relationship with a computer screen to wander
the streets of Brooklyn with the superior companionship
of happy pups.
Mariah’s favorite
pastimes include knitting while listening to news
podcasts, obsessively reading political magazines,
frivolously collecting books to add to her collection
of books she’s yet to read, reading with
the hope of becoming more well-read, coming up
with new justifications to convince herself that
fashion is not a meaningless pursuit, people-watching
for design inspiration, and indulging in international
fashion blogs.

From sunny San Diego David Negrete earned his Bachelor's Degree from the Berklee College of Music. After spending the last 3 years in Boston studying music he finally settled in Bushwick at the beginning of 2008. He loves composing, playing the piano, performing on the saxophone, and all things music.
Since his favorite animals are dogs, it was only natural for David to start working with them as their walker and caretaker. He is delighted in roaming the streets with his canine cohorts.

Justin Stivers was born and raised in the Seattle area. When he was 12 his parents got a wild hair and decided to move from the city to a very small town in eastern Washington (the nearest McDonalds is 2 hrs away if that gives any indication). Justin's mom is a vet, so this new rural environment led to creatures great and small that began to fill the house and outlying property. Animals came in droves, everything from lizards and snakes, to goats, chickens and horses. Of course the pack of animals wouldn't be complete without having at least 3 dogs and a good half dozen cats at one time! This is where Justin's love and appreciation for animals grew.
Justin has traveled through most of the country and has lived in most of the cities and states of the pacific northwest (Portland, Olympia, Seattle and Alaska to name a few). During this time Justin received his Associates Degree in Audio Production from Shoreline Community College located in Seattle. Shortly thereafter he found his way to his way to Brooklyn. Over the last 3 years he has thoroughly enjoyed being a dog walker which gets him out of the recording studio. With one album under his belt that made it to the top of NPR's album of the year list Justin hopes to rekindle that magic again in the very near future with his band.

Steve Conrad was raised in Merrimack, New Hampshire, 50 miles north of Boston. His first dog was a cocker spaniel named Luke, who was adopted from the Humane Society. Growing up, Steve would use his family camcorder to make short movies with his older brother. This eventually fueled his decision to pursue film school. He attended an accelerated program in Orlando, Florida where after two long years of hard work, he graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in film and video production in October of 2006.
When Steve is not walking dogs he is doing freelance cinematography and camera work for anyone that needs it. He is also a musician, specializing in drumming, and has been in a number of bands over the past decade.

Kenny Phommaly is a proud dog walker and musical expeditionary from Wichita, KS. Via roads and rails he has now made himself at home in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to which he was a dog walker in Chicago.
He loves to sing loudly and play guitar on rooftops and under trees. He realizes that there is nothing like a good sunrise and that some of his friends have the most terrific laughs anyone has ever heard, ever.
New York is a wondrous place and he is ever discovering its degrees. He is now stationed in Williamsburg and taking his coffee black. He is just learning to play soccer and is not yet very good, but just wait!"

Kate Gray was raised in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. She has also spent time in the deserts of Tucson, AZ and the mountains of western Mass. She's not sure yet where her degree in Russian literature will take her, but is happy to be living in Brooklyn with her boyfriend and getting to know New York.
Growing up there was always a dog in the house, and sometimes as many as three - usually terriers with endearing underbites. Unable to have a dog in her current apartment, she loves pretending her Mobile Mutts charges are really hers. She also enjoys used bookstores, celebrity gossip, music and analog photography. |
Graham Jones, born and raised in Alabama, now happily lives in

well-executed documentaries. Additionally, he spends a great deal of
his time reading and writing.

Born in Charlotte, NC and raised in the Shenandoah Valley in rural VA, Daniel Stover grew up wandering the woods and swimming in local creeks and rivers, tending gardens, building forts deep in the forests, and illustrating/writing comic strips published by the local paper.
